After a rainy night in Rapid City, South Dakota, on to more sightseeing! First, Devils Tower, and it is quite a sight! And very crowded. This is a pay to enter National Park and there was a flashing sign indicating very limited parking. The were a lot of families there visiting, so I decided to let them take my parking spot. Devils Tower is cool from any distance, and I didn’t need to get up close to it to be in awe of it. We didn’t visit this in 1968.
Where’s the aliens, Spielberg?

Geez, you really don’t need to get close. I’m sure what more there would be to see.
I agree. Maybe if I was a geologist like Edmunds, I might find the geologic formations interesting, but I was just fine seeing it from a distance, and it was very people-y there.
